The Role:

As a Dynamic Content Creator, you'll be a visionary force behind our clients' success stories, blending expertise in social media content creation, trending reels, and fast-paced video with intentional client engagement. You'll be more than just a project manager; you'll be a key player in telling the story of our clients. With a keen eye for creativity and a knack for storytelling, you'll collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives and translate them into captivating visual content that drives results. Your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines will be crucial as you navigate the ever-evolving landscape of social media trends and audience preferences.

This is not an entry-level content job. You must have direct experience creating or managing TikTok content, whether for your personal brand or for clients. We’re looking for someone who understands the platform’s unique rhythm: short attention spans, bold hooks, fast cuts, trends, and the difference between a cringe post and a viral one.

Much of your early content will be TikTok-style vertical video, especially in the automotive space — though the role is not limited to that industry.

This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media Strategy (50% of Role)
Create engaging social media content that aligns with client marketing goals and platform best practices. Responsibilities include:

  • Create engaging short-form social media content, including video reels, graphic posts, and motion-based content designed to perform across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Develop creative concepts for social media posts and reels that support campaign goals and maintain audience engagement.
  • Assist in planning monthly or campaign-based social media content calendars in collaboration with Client Leads.
  • Write compelling captions that reflect each client’s tone of voice and include appropriate calls to action.
  • Utilize GSF photography, video assets, high-quality stock imagery, and AI-assisted creative tools to develop engaging content.
  • Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to ensure client content remains relevant and competitive.
  • Schedule approved posts through appropriate distribution platforms such as Meta Business Suite, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate the promotion of social posts through paid social campaigns when appropriate, following client-approved budgets and guidance from Client Leads.
  • Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and effectiveness of future content.

Client Services & Project Coordination (50% of Role)
Serve as a key communication link between the client and the GSF creative team to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Understand each client’s marketing goals, brand messaging, and target audience in order to support effective content strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned clients to discuss content ideas, gather approvals, and coordinate upcoming initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring a positive and collaborative partnership.
  • Assign and manage tasks through project management tools (such as Asana) based on contract deliverables, client communications, and meeting notes.
  • Facilitate communication within the GSF team to ensure all deliverables remain on schedule and aligned with client expectations.
  • Participate in client meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions.
  • Coordinate with the Video Department to ensure social media needs are considered during video productions when applicable.
  • Coordinate with photographers and designers to prepare for content capture opportunities such as photoshoots or campaign launches.
  • Assist with planning logistics for shoots when social media content capture is needed (actors, props, locations, etc.).
  • Serve as an on-site liaison during photo or video shoots to help ensure social content opportunities are captured efficiently.
  • Communicate the vision, messaging, and objectives for social content to graphic designers and other creative team members.
  • Ensure all deliverables outlined in client agreements are properly scheduled and completed each month.
  • Communicate the results of GSF’s social media efforts, including key metrics and performance insights that are important to the client.

Qualifications:

  • Previous marketing agency experience is required (1+ years).
  • Proven experience creating social media content, particularly short-form video and visual posts designed for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience writing social media captions and adapting messaging to match brand voice.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and project management tools (such as Asana).
  • Knowledge of digital advertising and social media ad campaigns is a plus.
  • Comfortable working within the Mac ecosystem is a plus.
