The name, Compassion Radio, was given by an aid worker in a Middle Eastern refugee camp as a description of what the ministry was doing to help poor and oppressed people. The name stuck. Case Studies

Client: Tyndale House Publishers

Challenge: Create national exposure for a publishing company’s authors and books by developing a creative, short-form syndicated radio campaign.

Solution: Life Change Moments. As a radio-single is to the promotion of a hit record, so is a Life Change Moment to the promotion of a book and author. GSF produces and syndicates a daily sixty-second feature/commercial offering practical advice and insights from authors, producers, and creators of books, bibles, video and audio products. All spots point the listener to the publisher’s web site for more information about what they’ve experienced on the radio spot and to purchase related products. 

Results: Life Change Moments air on over 1,300 radio outlets with a potential listening audience of 7.1 million and continues to grow.

Client: Crown Financial Ministries

Challenge: Take a venerable name and create a program that exposes the ministry to a new audience while aiding in the acquisition of new names.

Solution: The Ted and Tony Show. GSF conceptualized, produced and syndicated The Ted and Tony Show—a funny one-minute financial short-form program where two goofballs share horrendous financial advice, countered with good advice from Ministry President Howard Dayton along with an invitation to find out more at Crown’s web site.

Results: Increased exposure of the client into markets and to individuals previously unfamiliar with its offerings. Over 900 radio outlets airing the feature on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Client: Bible League

Challenge: Revive and invigorate radio related fundraising and donor development efforts by meeting specified revenue and new donor goals. Prior efforts were trending downward and not meeting goals.

Solution: Developed a new strategy and approach to raising funds and acquiring new donors. GSF Media conceptualized a new creative campaign, solicited the new approach to radio stations and secured markets to execute campaign.

Results: Exceeded clients specified goals by 168%, invigorated the waning radio fundraising efforts.
